Troubleshooting
I am familiar with most software used by professional court reporters and am able to provide a moderate level of assistance to reporters when difficulties relating to scoping and transferring/converting files arise. In most cases these problems can be rectified fairly easily and quickly. However, in more complicated situations you may have to consult an outside expert.
Dictionary Support
Another benefit of reading and writing steno is my ability to assist reporters with dictionary building and maintenance, if requested. I’m happy to make steno outline or short-form suggestions or assist with other dictionary-related tasks you require. If this is an area where you’d like some help, please let me know. It’s my belief that this type of collaboration can only strengthen our work together as a team, and ultimately benefits us both in the long run.
